In accordance with DepEd Memorandum No. 143, s. 2017 entitled National and Regional DepEd ICT Summits, each region will conduct their respective Regional DepEd ICT Summits and will hold their Regional ICT Best Practices Awards. Said awards will have the RO identify and recognize innovative use of ICT in Teaching and Learning, as well as in Governance and Operations from offices and schools within their respective regions. Identified implementations will form part of the National ICT Best Practices Awards.

OBJECTIVES

1.    Update ICT practitioners in DepEd on emerging technologies;

2.    Start the culture of sharing and collaborating of ICT in teaching, learning, and governance;

3.    Provide a forum to update everyone on current as well as future plans; and

4.    Recognize ICT best project implementers.
