BSP Scouts Jamboree and GSP Council Camp were conducted during the Regional Integrated Competition with their unique themes: Boy Scouts— “Scouting: Growth and Stability for Inclusive Education†and Girl Scouts— “Be Prepared: Girl Scouts in Action at the Provincial Government Center, Dao, Pagadian City on December 4-6, 2018.
Said event was participated by the BSP/GSP Scouts and adult leaders of the six divisions out of the eight namely— Zamboanga del Sur, Pagadian City, Dapitan City, Dipolog City, Sibugay and Zamboanga del Norte. The event was hosted by Zamboanga del Sur division
There were 229 Boy Scouts, 56 BSP Staffs, 15 support Staffs, 228 Girl Scouts, and 40 GSP Staffs registered.
Dr. Isabelita M. Borres, DepEd regional director, emphasized the significance of scouting movement in integrating the Scouting activities of the eight learning areas, “...that no child is left behind from learning and experiencing her meaningful insights [One Dream].â€
She further challenged both BSP and GSP Scouts on the implication of the DepEd Order regarding Values Formation and Application for the purpose of exposing neophytes or first timer boy/girl scouts who have not experience any scouting activity in their elementary days.
BSP activities include Team Building, Knot Tying and Lashing, Emergency Preparedness, Zero Waste Management, Anti-Dengue and Drug Awareness, First Aid and Bandaging, Flag Code and Flag Folding, and Nature Lore/Songs and Yells.
Further, Cultural Night was also one of the highlights of the activity. Lined up events that were showcased were the search for Mr. and Ms. Regional Scouts Jamboree, Fancy Drill Competition/Brotherhood Campfire/ Socialization/Talents Unlimited by sub-camp.

Meanwhile, the GSP activities—Arts and Crafts Contest, Lei Making; Emergency Preparedness, Life Saving; Singing Contest, Anak; and Larong Pinoy.
On the other hand the GSP presented the Campfire, Mutya ng Kampo 2018,
Socialization, Dance Contest: No te vayas de Zamboanga, and Talents Unlimited by sub-camp.

Training young boys and girls in scouting movement is the aim of BSP and GSP to support young people in all aspects of life, preparing them in their future as they play a vital role in the society and to further develop confidence, self esteem, learning important like skills, leadership skills, team building, outdoor adventure, education, and fun.
