Kristoff M. Dela Cruz of Sibugay with seven wins dominated the Final Match of the Elementary Table Tennis Boys Singles against Drei Kalel M. Almirol of Dipolog, April 24. 

Together with Coach Regie D. Baybayan, they outsmarted their opponents from seven divisions of the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association 2024. 

The spectators were in nail-biting situations as Dela Cruz and Almirol exchanged the ball with enough speed, shots executed over the table, and usually close to the net. Hence, the spectators were so engrossed in the momentum that their eyes couldn’t get out from the ball.

Dela Cruz of Sibugay swept the three sets, with a 11-6, 11-8, 11-9 victory. Sibugay proudly bagged the Gold Medal and qualified in Palarong Pambansa 2024.
