Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex, Edel John Acbayan from Dipolog City secured his place in the semifinals of the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) 2024, overcoming Kevin Clint Gallenero of Zamboanga Del Norte with a final score of 6-4. 

The match, initially scheduled for the morning, faced an unexpected delay due to heavy rain, pushing the competition to the intense heat of the afternoon.
