In a breathtaking display of resilience, Zamboanga City’s Couple 025 turned hurdles to triumph when its male dancer after barely recovering from a breathing difficulty signed a waiver in order to continue competing in the Dancesport Competition of the Zamboanga Peninsula Athletic Association Meet in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte, February 26.

This bold decision became the turning point, as Couple 025 went on to dominate the Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive under the Latin American Discipline, securing golds in each event and ultimately clinching the ticket to the “Palarong Pambansa.”
