Zamboanga Del Norte took over the match and snatched a win against Zamboanga City in the first match of Men’s Football on April 24, 2024 at the Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex, Z.C.

Coming into Day three of the event fresh off beating previous adversaries in sweeps, Zambo. Norte and Zambo. City were teams to root for in the qualification run. Both teams did not give away any chance, but ZDN’s persistence in the first half secured their lone and decisive goal 18 minutes into the match, earning a win against Zamboanga City.  

Both teams eventually qualified for the semi-final event. Zambo. Norte will be returning on April 25, 2024 for their match against Pagadian, and Zamboanga City will go head-to-head against the top dog of the event, Dipolog City Patriots.
