In unison, Polo Elementary School aced in Saludo Competition during the 2024 Dapitan Central District Athletic Association Meet (DCDAA), November 7 at Dapitan City Central School.

Said category spiced up the activity as schools in Dapitan Central District prepared and presented their entry to include Dapitan City Central School (DCCS), Dapitan City Experimental Elementary School (DCEES), Dapitan City SPED Center, Polo Elementary School (PES), Lawaan Elementary School (LES), Talisay Integrated School (TIS), Ma. Cristina Elementary School (MCES), Capucao Elementary School (CES) and Sinonoc Elementary School (SES). 

Rizal Memorial Institute of Dapitan City Incorporated (RMIDCI) was proclaimed as best presenter in secondary level, followed by Talisay Integrated School (TIS), Dapitan City National High School (DCNHS) and Jose Rizal memorial State University (JRMSU).

District Supervisor, Mrs, Joy Cagbabanua commended that the performance was superb as Polo has displayed unique color wearing white and red combination who showed a fleek performance signifying unity and coordination.

“As Saludo coordinator, I am so grateful for the success of the competition and so with the support given by the pupils, teachers, parents and school principal, Mrs. Lyra Balladares”, Mrs. Gay Icao said.

She also mentioned the effort extended by the School Parents Teachers Association (SPTA) officer, Quilan Abordo, trainer, who untiringly shared his time to make the presentation an outstanding accomplishment.

Parents’ support was a huge impact in participating the Saludo competition by providing the complete attire of the athletes which unified the team’s performance.

Bringing home the bacon, Polo ES was determined to future feats and motivated to win in games to follow.
