The marvelous performance of Zamboanga City’s elementary basketball team, had their loudest cheer from the crowd. 

As the game began, Pagadian City’s basketball team was in control.  They executed their plays well. The defense, offense, and the assist to score was evident during the game. The alley-loop and the playmaker, Bigay wearing jersey number 11 of Pagadian, shows his leadership during the game. 

As the game progressed into the second and third quarters, the crowd went wild as the players of Zamboanga City were able to cut down the lead of the opponent with a score of 43-41. They slowly gained their momentum during the game, but the opponent defended their position well to maintain. 

During the last quarter, Pagadian had their technical foul for having six players inside the court instead of five. Anchored on experience, Zamboanga City players were able to lead the game during the last two minutes of playing time. They took the advantage after being down by seven points but with great defense and offense, they were able to score with sixteen consecutive points to win the game. 

‘’When coaching an elementary basketball team, the game plan will always break, I always told them during the last quarter to show their defense and offense. With great defense comes great offense,” Coach Nuesca Claro said in an interview.

The humble overcame the powerful to suppress the opponent. The brawl to gain the gold, forfend to the triumphant win. Ariba, Zamboanga City.
