Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte – On February 25, the Julian Soriano Memorial Sports Complex hosted a fierce shot put competition in the secondary boys' division of the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) 2025 Athletics Meet. With a strong throw of 13.15 meters, Jerus Axel S. Domingono of Zamboanga del Sur won the gold medal.

John Kenneth Pugon of Dipolog City won the bronze with a throw of 10.39 meters, while Charles Jofrey Josh C. Uy of Zamboanga del Norte came in second with a distance of 12.84 meters.

The competition demonstrated the young athletes' strength, talent, and tenacity in the area. Zamboanga del Sur's supremacy in field competitions was confirmed by Domingono's outstanding performance.
