
PROVIDENCE. Teachers assist in the repacking of goods to be distributed to the identified recipients.
The region accumulated P19 million in cash and in kinds in terms of food packs, relief goods, personal protective equipment’s (PPE’s), disinfectants, and other health kits for the identified beneficiaries and front liners of the region.
The said amount collected was the result of the benevolence of the eight schools divisions’ teaching and non-teaching personnel.
DepED RO IX never stops to think and rethink ways and means to deliver its services particularly to the learners.
Halted temporarily in March due to the COVID-19 health emergency, but surely and definitely, it will always find ways to continue its missions and visions.
In like manner, with firm resolved, the department will not be deterred to bring its moral and social responsibility to those who are in need.
It will surely explore all possibilities to reach out making the spirit of volunteerism alive through the “Bayanihan efforts.”
The department cannot afford selfish neglect in this time of crisis, as one community and one nation-such prompt action indeed helped fill the gap to make our nation heal as one!
