Dipolog dominates secondary girl’s 800m freestyle

Dipolog registered a commanding victory dominating the women's 800m freestyle event for secondary, with a remarkable one-two finish that left spectators in awe on Wednesday, April 24.

Mary Maika Q. Montecillo led the charge, whose performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Montecillo's unparalleled determination and precision propelled her to establish a lead she maintained until the final stroke. Her flawless technique and focus secured her the gold medal and earned her the admiration of spectators and fellow competitors.

Emmery Faith S. Quico, also representing Dipolog, performed with a fierce competitive spirit, demonstrating her formidable talent in the pool. Quico battled fiercely against the competition, showcasing her exceptional endurance and tactical prowess as she fought for a place on the podium. With each stroke, she edged closer to her teammate Montecillo, ultimately securing the silver medal with a strong finish that underscored her status as a rising star in swimming.
