Guimputlan IS maintains a stress-free community
With loads of works and studies, staying physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy can be challenging for teachers and students in Guimputlan Integrated School. But with great determination, this is made possible through the school’s wellness program “Hataw na, Galaw na Guimputlan IS”.
It is undeniably true that schools play a vital role in the holistic development of the learners, for which cannot be fulfilled if the prime movers of education are struggling with their well-being. It is also worth noting that the body and mind can quickly become stagnant with lack of movement. That is why ‘“Hataw na, galaw na’’ is pushed forward every Wednesday, 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., to help everyone in the school community maintain a stress-free life.
Moreover, the many reported health-related issues add fuel to the conduct of the school’s advocacy. Everyone is encouraged to start moving and do some exercises to keep the balance with all the matters around us.
Further, all teachers are enthusiastically working together to make things in order without compromising the delivery of the teaching-learning process.
In unison, they kept track of the program’s milestones to successfully reach its goal to develop motivational boost not just for learners but also to teachers including parents or guardians, to help decrease the behavioral issues of students in and outside the classroom, and to achieve higher staff morale and productivity while making the workplace more efficient.
The successful implementation of the school’s wellness program inks a significant mark to the hearts of the learners. They can take a break from their academics, they can also spend time enjoying themselves with their classmates through dancing and exercising.
Guimputlan IS believes that the combined efforts of family, friends and school staff can contribute positively to shaping every learner’s character and behavior. Stay fit and healthy!
