Para-athletes conquer the victory platform with unparalleled joy and pride.
Athletic sports are competitions that primarily require stamina, fitness, and skill which the para-athletes who took part in the 2023 ZPRAA Qualifying Meet remarkably conquered the victory platform in the awarding ceremony on April 26.
It was indeed a sight of inspiration witnessing the para-athletes take turns in bowing their heads as they claim their medals, lift each other’s hands and display their genuine smiles, translating their dreams into reality; thus worthy to be called “champions.”
“Dako akong kalipay nga mahimong kabahin sa para-games kay dinhi makita ang kalipay sa mga bata nga ma-boost ilang ego ug kompyansa sa ilang kaugalingon”, technical official Alain O. Paradela said in an interview during the awarding ceremony.
Pride and accolades belong to their supportive coaches who never gave up on them, spurring the para-athletes to never give up on their dreams as they prove to many that no impairment can hinder them from soaring greater heights and conquering higher mountains.
Official winners are qualified for the Palarong Pambansa which will happen in Marikina City July of this year.
