Batang Barakos of Kabasalan National High School, Division of Zamboanga Sibugay remained perfect in the 3×3 circuit and booked a golden ticket for Palarong Pambansa in Cebu City. 

KNHS being dubbed as the 'Home of the Champions' came prepared and did not settle for less. Coach Teodoro M. Morada III trained his players intensively and made sure that they'll hit the mark and they did. 

In a dramatic turn of events, the match reached a thrilling climax with an intense tie-break for the gold medal. In the end, Batang Barakos emerged victorious and trumped the opponent 21-18.
