DIVINE VICTORY:  DepEd Zamboanga del Sur in a meeting with the LGU - Province and having the opportunity to present the learning continuity plan of the division which coveted their full support.

Gov. Victor Yu and Rep. Divina Grace Yu committed P47 million from the Special Education Fund(SEF) to provide internet connection to all barangays in the municipalities of the entire province and a total of P16 million to be utilized for module reproduction, radio airtime, and other relevant procurement for the opening of class. 

The resources were pooled as a result of the Provincial School Board meeting last July 9 regarding the realigned funds due to the current set-up. Meantime, the construction of  internet towers had already commenced.

The said pledge of support was pronounced during the conduct of Regional Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela Launching Ceremonies done virtually on June 11.

Moreover, the pronouncement stressed their usual   support for the education programs and projects which is all the more intensified in this time of pandemic.

And the usual battle-cry is heard that in Zamboanga del Sur, education is SURE!
