Aug.1, Mandaluyong City-ZamPen officials led by Dr. Ruth L. Fuentes got straight to the business at hand, it is a lunch meeting with Vice- Mayor Menchie Abalos and Councilor Charisse Abalos- Vargas of Mandaluyong City.

VM Menchie and Councilor Charisse expressed their commitment to aid Zamboanga Peninsula schools particularly those in remote and island district schools. 

They said that prior to such meeting, they were able to dole out assistance to   identified schools in Isabela City  Division. This time, they would like to extend help through their foundation. 

Dr. Fuentes bestowed a framed handwoven Yakan cloth to VM Menchie as a token of gratitude. 

Moreover, the Abalos would like DEPED RO IX to identify the needs of the next batch beneficiary schools and other ways forward. 

The said meeting was held at Shangri-la Hotel in Mandaluyong City.
