Dr. Penales Sets Tone for Regional Festival of Talents at Liloy NHS
Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte – Dr. Eugenio B. Penales, CLMD chief delivered a message during the Solidarity Meeting at Liloy National High School in preparation for the Regional Festival of Talents starting April 5-8, 2025. The meeting gathered top officials from the eight Schools Division Offices (SDOs) of Region IX, along with learner-contestants, coaches, and other key stakeholders of DepEd.
Dr. Penales emphasized the significance of the event, stating that it serves as a platform to identify the best talent who will represent the region in the national level. The event will officially begin on April 5 following the opening ceremony. He further encouraged the participants to strive for excellence.
During his address, Dr. Penales shared insights from a recent meeting with the Central Office (CO)officials in Baguio City, where he raised critical concerns that needed urgent attention. His advocacy underscored the importance of continuous improvement in talent competitions and support for learners.
Furthermore, he reminded all participants and officials to strictly adhere to the guidelines set for the competition, ensuring fairness and integrity throughout the event.
